“Convenience and Safety Facilitation During Festivals” Project

BEM, in collaboration with the Expressway Authority of Thailand (EXAT) facilitated travel convenience for the public during long holidays while jointly promoting safe driving practices during festive periods. The Company established service points along expressways to facilitate travel and traffic flow with support fromexpressway police officers, traffic support teams, rescue teams, special operations units, emergency response vehicles, tow trucks and mobile units, all of whom were well prepared to provide assistance and facilitate traffic flow along expressway routes to accommodate increase volume of travel into and out of Bangkok during festival period.

During the Songkran Festival in 2025, BEM distributed 8,000 sets of drinking water and cooling towels to the public at key service points, including Chimphli Toll Plaza and Bang Pa-in Toll Plaza, both outbound and inbound.

During the New Year festival in 2026, BEM prepared personnel, equipment and public service units at multiple locations across the expressway network to continuously facilitate travel and enhance safety for expressway users throughout the long holiday period.
