“International White Cane Day 2025” Project

BEM participated in the “International White Cane Day 2025” Project, organized by the Thailand Association of the Blind. The white cane serves as a symbol of independence and safe mobility for people with visual impairments. The project’s route commenced at the Bangkok School for the Blind and concluded at Saranrom Park. A total of 200 participants traveled via the MRT Blue Line and Purple Line, passing through Chatuchak Park, Sanam Chai, Tao Poon and Nonthaburi Civic Center stations. To support public transit accessibility for visually impaired people, the Company assigned staff to facilitate travel and enhanced strict safety measures throughout the journey. This initiative reinforces the Company’s commitment to promoting safe, inclusive, and equitable travel for all passenger groups.
