Green Areas

Environmental

BEM maintains a balance of green spaces by planting diverse plant species around office buildings, attracting various life forms such as birds, butterflies, insects, squirrels, and other small creatures that inhabit and utilize these areas as habitats and food sources. The biodiversity in these green spaces contributes to ecological balance, reducing environmental impacts while enhancing the surrounding environment. These areas play a crucial role in absorbing carbon dioxide, increasing oxygen levels, and lowering temperatures around the offices. Beyond the environmental benefits, these green spaces provide psychological and health advantages for employees by reducing stress, promoting relaxation, and fostering a work environment that enhances productivity and efficiency. Maintaining biodiversity through the creation of green spaces around the offices aligns with the Company's environmental sustainability goals. This initiative also helps establish a small yet impactful ecosystem that effectively supports urban biodiversity conservation sustainably. Currently, these green space account for approximately 80% of the green area surrounding the Rama IX Administration Building.
