“Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Training in 2025” Project

In 2025, BEM and its subsidiary (BMN) conducted a total of 12 training courses focusing on safety rules and regulations, operational safety standards, as well as specialized courses for high-risk operations. These programs accumulated 77,088.35 training hours, representing 100% participation by all target employees and relevant personnel required to undergo training. The benefits derived by both the trainees and the Company from each training course are summarized as follows:

• “Basic Fire Fighting and Fire Prevention”: This course was provided to 369 employees to enhance their knowledge and practical skills in the correct and safe use of various types of fire extinguishers. All participants successfully completed and passed the training, achieving a 100% passing rate. The course strengthens employees’ preparedness to respond effectively to fire emergencies while helping minimize the risk of injury, loss of life, and property damage resulting from fire incidents.
• “Occupational Safety, Health, and Work Environment”: This course was provided to 178 employees and 13 contractors, with all participants successfully completing and passing the training, achieving a 100% passing rate. The course enhances participants’ knowledge and understanding of occupational safety, health, the working environment, and relevant safety legislation. It also strengthens awareness of safe work practices, helping to prevent injuries, protect lives and property, and promote a safe and healthy working environment across the Company's operations.
• “Work Safety for APOSTLE (Authorized Person on Site to Liaise with the Line or Engineering Controller)”: This course was provided to 1 BMN employee, 22 BMN employees participating in refresher training, and 20 contractors participating in refresher training. All participants successfully completed and passed the training, achieving a 100% passing rate. The course enhances participants’ knowledge and understanding of the overall MRT system, enabling them to comply with operational rules, regulations, and safety requirements when working within the rail system. It also reinforces safe work practices, helping to prevent injuries, protect lives and property, and maintain a safe working environment across the Company's operations.
