“Contractor Scorecard to Enhance Supplier Capacity” Project

BEM has implemented the Contractor Scorecard Program to promote and enhance the operational performance of contractors working within the rail business areas, with a focus on improving safety management and fostering active contractor engagement. The program provides opportunities for contractors’ safety officers to present their safety activities and communication approaches to other contractors. This initiative encourages the exchange of knowledge, experience, and best practices in safety, leading to an overall improvement of safety performance efficiency.

The activities presented under this program must cover three key performance indicators, as follows:

• Compliance: Adherence to requirements, regulations, and assigned responsibilities as specified in operational procedures and work instructions
• Standards: Compliance with occupational health and safety laws and regulations
• Behavior & Culture: Organizational safety behaviors and culture in alignment with established guidelines and practices
