“Human Rights Awareness Raising 2025” Project
BEM has continuously implemented human rights awareness initiatives to strengthen understanding of and compliance with internationally recognized human rights principles and the Company's Human Rights Policy. These initiatives are delivered through training programs and awareness-building activities for employees, suppliers, contractors, and other relevant stakeholders.
In 2025, 100% of employees completed human rights awareness training and acknowledged the Company's Code of Conduct and Human Rights Policy, ensuring comprehensive awareness of key human rights issues. The Company also conducted human rights risk assessments covering 100% of its Significant Tier-1 suppliers and contractors. All employees were required to complete the mandatory training and successfully pass the post-training assessment.
As a result, 3,713 employees completed the human rights training program, with all participants achieving a 100% passing rate. In addition, the Company organized a workplace bullying and harassment management training program to strengthen understanding of the prevention, identification, and appropriate management of workplace bullying and harassment. The program was attended by 40 Division Managers and Section Managers, with all participants successfully completing the training and achieving a 100% passing rate.
The training courses were as follows:
- “Basic Knowledge of Human Rights”: This course was provided to 3,713 management and non-management employees, with all participants successfully completing the training and achieving a 100% passing rate. The program strengthens participants' understanding of human rights principles, equality, labour rights, and the Company's Human Rights Policy. It also promotes the practical application of human rights principles in both the workplace and everyday life, contributing to a fair and respectful working environment while reinforcing the Company's commitment to responsible business conduct.
- “Handling Bullying and Harassment in the Workplace”: This course was provided to 40 Division Managers and Section Managers, with all participants successfully completing the training and achieving a 100% passing rate. The program strengthens participants' understanding of the definitions, impacts, risk assessment, prevention, and appropriate management of workplace bullying and harassment. It also promotes respect for diversity and individual differences, fostering a safe, transparent, and fair working environment while reinforcing the Company's commitment to human rights, equality, and zero tolerance for all forms of bullying and harassment.
